Zbigniew Miklewicz (47) was appointed the Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of Z.Ch. Police on 24 July.
He has Ph.D. in economy and is an investment advisor. He studied management at University of Leipzig. He was a scientist in the Institute of Production Economics at Szczecin University, where in 1993 he obtained his Ph.D. He took scholarship at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and in Julius Baer Bank in Zurich. After 1992, he worked in the financial sector as a branch director in Bank Morski and BIG S.A., deputy chairman of the management board in charge of investment banking and advisor to the Chairman in Pomorski Bank Kredytowy S.A. in Szczecin. Subsequently he acted as planning and organization department head in Grupa Ubezpieczeniowa FILAR (an insurance group) and real property lease department director in BRE Leasing. Since 2003, he has been employed in ZCH POLICE, where he began his career as a chief specialist on controlling, and since 2007, has held the position of chief accountant. His core activities during this period include development of management accounting and implementing of IAS/IFRS, as well as preparing the first financial statements in line with the newly adopted standards.
